We can't tell you whether to pay someone or recover lost money; for that, use the steps under "I've been scammed".
I've been scammed
- Contact your bank or payment provider straight away: the sooner they act, the better the chance of stopping the payment.
- Change any passwords you shared, and turn on two-step verification.
- Report it to ReportCyber (cybercrime) and to Scamwatch, which helps warn others.
- IDCARE gives free support if your identity or personal details were taken: 1800 595 160.
A result about my domain is wrong
Email us the domain and why you think the result is wrong, for example that it belongs to your organisation or was set up to protect your brand. Evidence helps: your ABN, a link from your main website, or your registrar's details.
We review every request. If we got it wrong, we correct the result and can add context so future checks show it.

Report a scam website
Found a .au website that's pretending to be someone else? Report it to Scamwatch, which can act to have scam sites taken down, and send us the domain so we can check it.
API access
API access is by invitation while we're in early access. Email us with your organisation and what you'd like to check (for example supplier onboarding, payments or link scanning) and roughly how many checks a month.
How checks work
